MY RECIPY
Peru
Empanada
Ingredients:
·
1 package frozen puff pastry dough
·
2 tablespoons butter
·
1/2 cup flour
·
1 cup milk
·
2 eggs
·
1/2 cup grated cheese (smoked gouda,
edam, or similar)
·
4 tablespoons grated parmesan
·
Pinch of cayenne pepper
·
Salt to taste
·
1/4 pound deli ham
·
1 egg yolk
·
1 tablespoon water
Preparation:
·
Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
·
Precalenta horno a 400 grados.
·
Melt butter in saucepan on medium-low
heat.
·
Funde
mantequilla en medio-bajo calor
·
Whisk flour into butter, and increase
heat to medium. Cook, stirring, for 1-2 minutes.

Bate flor en
manteqilla y aumenta calor a medio. Cocinar revuelve para 1-2 minutos.

Whisk milk into flour/butter mixture
and bring to boil, stirring. Sauce will thicken slightly.
·
Bate leche en
flor/mantequilla mezcla y llevar a hervir, revolve. Salsa voluntad espesar
ligeramente.

Whisk 2 eggs into mixture and cook,
stirring, for 1 -2 minutes more or until sauce has thickened.
·
Bate 2 huevos en
mezcla y cocinar revolver para 1-2 minutos mas o hasta salsa tiene ligeramente.
REFLECTION
I learned how when translating english recopies into Spanish individual foods can change how words are spelled depending on weather the food is male or female. Odes are super easy to write because of how exaggerated they can be. Peru is a mountainous region and the people live in relative poverty. My dish turned out really good tasting, it was very popular at the exhibition. Next time i will chose a less challenging recipe, Although i am proud of how it turned out in the end.

Mi mentor es Salvador Dali. Elijo a Dali porque a mi me gusta arte impresionista.
Mi artista hace pinturas arte impresionistas.Unas características de sus obras son paisajes abiertos y temas impresionistas. Puedes reconocer por su arte símbolos y distinta material. A mi me gustan las pintura de los elefantes.
Mi arte es de tejón permanente sobre una cascada. Ambos el sol y la luna son afuera al mismo tiempo. Hay un pequeño bote flotando hacia la cascada. Mi imagen se dibujó con lápiz de color. Mi arte se elaboró en un primer momento el uso de lápiz de plomo. Yo use crayones y marcadores también. Me siento como que realmente capturó el estado de ánimo de las pinturas de Dalí. A mi me gusta mi obra de arte.

4. Thinking back on this project I remember putting allot of work towards my art, and really doing my best on it. I think I could have worked more on the spanish park of the exhibition and I think that this was because I do not feel very confident with the material even though I focus in class and do all of the optional homework. I think that conjugation has not really ever sunk in and I feel somewhat lost. I wish there was more time to speak individually with my teacher. I think that I used my habit of refinement to great extent in this project.

Mi Vida En Tongoy
In this project i found that i was much more capable at using correct grammar than i was at spelling or memorizing words, I used this as much as possible when writing my story. I am really proud of the drawings i did in my picture book. If i were to do this project again i would incorporate much a much simpler story line so that i did not have to use so many words i had not yet learned in class. I really found it surprising that there were so many exceptions to the basic grammar that i was used to using and i found it difficult to incorporate this into my writing. In this project i used allot of perseverance because it was annoying to constantly be having to go back and fix errors that i had already written. I would like the world to know that children's books are allot harder to write than they look.
Del Alma Exhibition Reflection
At the exhibition i had a really good time reading to the children, we switched partners several times so i got to talk to several of them. First we read our Spanish storys and then we read a book of there choice. If i could do it again i defiantly would.
